On Sunday, we sat in a pew and looked up at leaders who proudly don MAGA hats in their free time.

On Monday, we received a DM from a well-meaner warning us of the Black Lives Matter movement’s Nazi rhetoric.

On Tuesday, we cried over farewell ice cream as our friends described their 3-year-old asking if her white long-sleeved shirt made her White enough to play with the other girls at school.

On Wednesday, we wondered when our 2-year-old son would go from cute to criminal.

On Thursday, we were reminded that coffee and tea consumption eclipse social media likes and shares of racist propaganda.

On Friday, we laughed out loud.

On Saturday, we prayed for peace and patience to do it all over again.
